Cie. Dyptik, founded in 2012 by choreographers Mehdi Meghari and Souhail Marchiche, is based in Saint- Etienne, France and has the support of the city of Saint-Étienne, the DRAC, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and the Loire department. Dyptik started exploring the theme of identity, through “En quête”[Investigation] (2012) and “Dyptik” (2014) and then went on to tackle the topic of revolt with “D-Construction” (2016), “Dans l’engrenage”[In the Wheels] (2017) and “Le Cri” [The Scream](2018). Besides its creative work, the company has been developing many cultural initiatives, among which TRAX, an annual festival created in 2014. The company is committed to the values of sharing, cultural exchange and engaging and opens its studios to artists and the public, making a true platform for residencies and performances.
