Flávia Tápias is a contemporary dance choreographer, performer and teacher with a degree from the Angel Vianna Dance Faculty (Brazil). She’s a member of the Tápias Group since 1998, with which she has been performing to date together with choreographer Giselle Tápias. She is the artistic director of the Tápias Festival, and assistant director and curator for the international contemporary dance festivals Dança em Trânsito and Correios em Movimento (Brazil). She teaches contemporary dance technique and choreographic composition in several international festivals and showcases.
