Gilles Verièpe was born in 1975 and began dancing at the age of 13 at the Municipal School in Cappelle-la-Grande. He continued his studies at the Paris Conservatory in 1991, where he worked with Maguy Marin, Dominique Bagouet and Claude Brumachon. He has been a choreographer since 2000, and is director of the company Cie DK59 and associate artist at Théâtre de Rungis.
