JORGE DUTOR & GUILLEM MONT DE PALOL

Jorge Dutor studied Scenography at the Royal Drama School in Madrid (RESAD) and has been working as set, costumes and light designer for theater pieces, films, TV series and fashion shows since 1999 combining this roll with playing as a DJ and organising parties and little music festivals. In 2008, he moved to Amsterdam where he started to collaborate with different creators from the contemporary dance and performance field. Nowadays Dutor is based in Barcelona and, since 2009, is creating his performances in collaboration with Guillem Mont de Palol.


Guillem Mont de Palol graduated from the School for New Dance Development (Amsterdam) in 2006. Since then he has been working actively in the international dance and performance scene. Since 2009 he collaborates with Jorge Dutor, created “UUUHHH”, “Yo fui un hombre lobo adolescente inventando horrors” (2009) and “Y Por qué John Cage?” (2011). In October 2013 they premiered their last project “#Losmicrófonos” in the TNT Festival, Terrassa. Guillem has also worked for other choreographers such as Xavier Le Roy, Mette Ingvartsen, Vincent Dunoyer. Since 2013, he is also engaged with the School for New Dance Development as a Movement Research guest teacher.
