Né Barros is a choreographer and dancer. Throughout her career she has pursued her artistic and scientific work in tandem. As well as Balleteatro, an organisation she founded and directs, she has worked with Companhia Nacional de Bailado (Portugal's National Ballet Company) and Ballet Gulbenkian. She teaches at Esap and by invitation at various institutions.
