After the live and online presentations of Bate Fado, Last and Oráculo in the first days of the DDD, the festival enters its second week with an interesting programme of performances, including four
premieres.
After the live and online presentations of Bate Fado, Last and Oráculo in the first days of the DDD, the festival enters its second week with a
succulent programme of performances produced in Portugal, including four
premieres.
Iceberg, by Ana Isabel Castro, arrives at the Teatro Municipal
Matosinhos Constantino Nery on April 27; CABRAQIMERA, by Catarina
Miranda, is presented at Rivoli on April 28; Viaduto, by Renan Martins
and Frankão, disembarks at the Auditório Municipal de Gaia on April 29; and on the last day of the festival,
on April 30, SIRI, which brings together film director Jorge Jácome and
choreographer Marco da Silva Ferreira, planned for Teatro Campo Alegre. All of
these pieces, which are about go sold out, will also have online presentations
at Bol.pt.
In addition to these
premieres, the programme also includes other national titles, such as Os
Três Irmãos, by Victor Hugo Pontes (Rivoli, April 26, and Teatro Municipal
Sá de Miranda, April 29), a new presentation of Oráculo, by Sara Anjo
and Teresa Silva (Teatro Municipal Sá de Miranda, April 27) - both also with
online versions -, in addition to the Double Bills # 2 and # 3 by
Corpo + Cidade (read more) and three titles with exclusively online presentations,
in Bol.pt: Ça va exploser, by João Fiadeiro and Carolina Campos (April 27-29); Hark !, by Luísa Saraiva and Senem Gökçe Oğultekin (April 27-29) and Quinta-Feira:
Abracadabra, by Cláudia Dias and Idoia Zabaleta (April 28-30).
Putting an end to 10 intense
days, North Korea Dance brings back Eun-Me Han, on April 30, to watch
live on the Facebook of the festival and its main partners.
