Accustomed that Hip Hop and the dances connected with it are mainly associated with men, B Girls arrives like a wave from the ocean, aiming to strengthen the B-girl’s place. We have challenged Max Oliveira, who has attended several editions of Corpo + Cidade, in partnership with DDD – Festival Dias da Dança, to create a piece for the 2023 edition, with four B- girls. A proposal of urban intervention, understanding and invoking a creative space where the feminine is voice, body, sound and order/disorder. — Isabel Barros & Flávio Rodrigues
