Rhythm, much like cosmic clockwork, aligns us with the timeless flow of nature, shedding light on why the language of rhythm and dance has a unifying effect, nurturing a sense of community. Radouan Mriziga extends an invitation to participants to delve into a crucial aspect of the creative process behind the last trilogy series (Tafukt, Ayur, Akal) and 'Libya.' The workshop centres on exploring rhythms as both an ancestral social collective glue and a tool of composition. Participants will navigate through stages of initiation and awareness of the rhythms Radouan has worked with, progress to analysis, and immerse themselves in the creation and/or improvisation with rhythms. Beginning with minimal body work based on the fundamental rhythms of breathing and walking, the exploration will extend to crafting movement, sound, and visual rhythms, both individually and as a group. This workshop aspires to be a rhythmic journey, connecting participants with ancestral knowledge and fostering connections among individuals. — Radouan Mriziga
