Sobre o Fim begins with the ending of a romantic relationship, which becomes a reflection on endings — both individual and collective — by exploring the intersection between humans and plants. A kind of botanical memory is formed, generating a shared hallucination that results in the possible fiction of this encounter. The project explores botanical performativity and incorporates carnivorous plants, aphrodisiac plants, dream-inducing plants and plants with healing properties. The sonic space is composed from sounds produced by the plants themselves, combining pre-recorded material with sounds generated in real time. — Gio Lourenço & Sofia Berberan
