This piece of choreography emerges from the idea that there exists a before, a story that precedes it. It is already a moment subsequent to something that has happened. Number serves this most chronological datum, but it remains open on the plane of abstraction. An exploration of the possibilities of the setting - the cloisters of S. Bento da Vitória monastery - is also intended. Between the plane of opening of a body whose senses multiply senses and the place that it reinvents, we find much of what dance can have of most fundamental. This project has been undertaken with final year students on the professional dance course at Balleteatro to celebrate world dance day. - Né Barros
