Victor Hugo Pontes brings to the stage three dancers imagined by writer Gonçalo M. Tavares for this new creation. Abelard, Adler and Hadrian are Os Três Irmãos [The Three Brothers]: when they meet in that non-place, they look for their parents’ trail, use chalk to mark their absence, wash themselves, eat together at the table, carry each other’s bodies in ritual sacrifice, shoulder each other, live on the run, and play the dangerous game of meeting the past. Abelard, Adler and Hadrian try to establish a connection with the land and survive the existence of each other even if it has been drilled, tangled in a bundle of clothes and carried in a wheelbarrow.
