POROMECHANICS is a collection of video-portraits of artists, depicted as oracles.

The initiative to portrait different artists, who are filmed moments after being subjected to states of immersion, through physical and sound activation, potentiates the idea of accessing the “black boxes” of these visionary bodies, promoting the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system and the appearance of subconscious speeches.

In an attempt to reclaim the flesh and hypnagogic individual hallucinations, each body is depicted a soothsayer (the one who tells the truth), returning the manifestation of their gestures on camera.

POROMECHANICS is a project created in dialogue with the dance piece CABRAQIMERA. DDD presents the online version of POROMECHANICS, which will be presented in Teatro Municipal do Porto in a near future.
