Carolina Campos
Carolina
Campos is Brazilian and lives between Lisbon and Barcelona. She develops
her work within the performative arts, transiting through different platforms
of collaboration and between creation and research. The relationship between
image and presence is also transversal in her work, and makes her practices
take place on the lines that border the languages of cinema, performance and
photography. She has a degree in Communication (UCS-RS), a postgraduate degree
in Photography (UCM-RJ) and carried out the Independent Studies Programme at
the Museum of Contemporary Art in Barcelona (MACBA) in 2019. She created the
works Ça va exploser (2020) with João Fiadeiro, Nome (2017)
with Márcia Lança and Playa (2017) with Coletivo Qualquer. In dramaturgical accompaniment and as performer he has already
collaborated with artists such as João Fiadeiro, Vera Mantero, Sónia Baptista, Calixto Neto, Ivan Haidar, Adaline Anobile,
Julian Pacómio / Angela Milano, Julia Salen, Volmir Cordeiro and nyam nyam.
In Brazil she was part of Lia Rodrigues
Cia de Danças, between 2008 and 2011. Since 2013, she collaborates intensely
with João Fiadeiro in the training, creation and research of the Real Time
Composition. She is associated with the structures VAGAR and Atelier Real (PT). She is resident artist at La Escocesa in
Barcelona.
