Cláudia
Galhós is a journalist, performative arts specialist
and writer born in Lisbon in 1972. She writes about
culture in general, performative e arts and dance in particular for newspapers
since 1994, in publications such as BLITZ, O Independente, Público, Jornal de
Letras, Mouvement, Visão, among others. She writes about performative
arts for the weekly newspaper Expresso since 2005. For television, she was the
editor of the weekly cultural magazine on culture AGORA and Palcos AGORA (RTP2, 2012 to 2015) and editor of the weekly
supplement Artes de Palco of the programme Journalist, performative arts specialist and writer Magazine"
(RTP2, 2004 to 2006).
She is the author of the fiction books: Sensualistas (2001); Conto de Verão (2002); O Tempo das Cerejas (2007), all by the publisher Oficina do Livro/Leya. She is the author of books on dance and/or arts: Corpo de Cordas - 10 anos de Companhia Paulo Ribeiro (2006, Assírio & Alvim); Pina Bausch - Sentir Mais (biographical essay, Don Quixote, 2010); 15 anos do Espaço do Tempo (2016, Centro Coreográfico de Montemor-o-Novo, by Rui Horta). She was the editor and author of the book There is nothing that is beyong your imagination (2015, within the European Network "Imagine 2020 – Art and Climate Change", which gathers 10 European theatres, led by Kaaitheater, in Brussels).
