Delfim Sardo (Aveiro, 1962) is Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and Administrator of the Centro Cultural de Belém. He holds a PhD in Contemporary Art from the University of Coimbra. He was a Consultant at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Director of the Exhibition Center at the Centro Cultural de Belém and Programmer of Visual Arts at Culturgest.

He was also the curator of the Portuguese Representation at the Venice Biennale in 1999 and co-curator of the Portuguese Representation at the Mostra Internazionale di Architettura di Venezia in 2000, the year in which he was General Curator of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale. He published several books about Art Theory and writes regularly about Art and Architecture.
