Frankão is a Brazilian musician and composer living in Porto. Since 2010, he has been playing under the pseudonym O Gringo Sou EU, a DIY project that merges funk dance, rap and electronic music. His beat is vibrant and the lyrics tackle post-colonial issues, related with structures of power and political ambiguities. As a musician and composer, he collaborates with several musical projects, such as Samba Sem Fronteiras, and is involved in several educational projects.
