JEAN BAPTISTE-ANDRÉ

Jean Baptiste-André, after several years of gymnastics training and competition, he discovered circus arts, which awoke his interests in theatre and dance. After completing his studies at the National Centre for Circus Arts in Châlons-en-Champagne (2002), he specialised in hand balancing and clown work. He founded the association W (2002) to develop projects focusing on contemporary circus. In 2005, he became the first circus artist to be granted by the Villa Médicis Hors Les Murs programme.
