Joana von Mayer Trindade Choreographer, performer and teacher. Master in SODA Solo / Dance / Authorship, Berlin UDK/HZT University of Arts (2013). Degree in Psychology in Universidade do Porto. Founded Nuisis Zobop with Hugo Calhim Cristovão. Contemporary Dance Performers (1999), Forum Dança. Essais (2006), CNDC d'Angers. In a creative partnership with Hugo Calhim Cristovão, created and interpreted the following plays: "She Will Not Live," VELEDA", "ZOS (She Will Not Live)", "O céu é apenas um disfarce azul do inferno" and "Da insaciabilidade no caso ou ao mesmo tempo um milagre". Of her authorship, Joana highlights the plays: "Between Being and Becoming", Edge-London Company, "MENINAS", "NAMELESS NATURES" and "Mysterium Coniunctionis". As a performer, she worked with: Antonio Carallo, Wil Swanson, Paulo Henrique, Olga Roriz, Sónia Baptista, Min Tanaka, Deborah Hay, Ana Clara Guerra Marques, Emmanuelle Huynh, Eric Didry, Danya Hammoud, LIGNA Collective and Isabelle Schad. Fellow of the National Cultural Center in Japan (2002), she researched and practiced Butoh with Min Tanaka at Body Weather Farm and Soto Zen Buddhism at Zazen DojoAntai-Ji.
