La Ribot was born in Spain but is based in Geneva. She’s a choreographer, director and visual artist. Her work integrates not only live interpretation, but also video, installations and object creation. In 2000, she was awarded the National Dance Award and, in 2016, the Merit Gold Medal in Fine Arts, awards given by the Ministry of Culture of Spain.
