Laura Silva Barroso (b. 2000) is an interdisciplinary artist. She holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Painting and a postgraduate degree in Puppetry and Animated Forms, studying in London and Lisbon. She continues her practice within the context of choreography and performance studies at the Institut Supérieur des Arts et des Choréographies (ISAC) Brussels. Her practice explores the nuances of presence and sensitivity, both individual and collective. Reflecting on listening, her work navigates the poetic and physical dimensions of affection and its sharing—incorporating the mediums of performance, weaving, drawing, and audio-visual documentation.
