Luísa Saraiva was born in Porto and is a choreographer and performer. She studied Psychology at the University of Porto and Dance at folkwang University of Arts in Essen.  In her choreographic practice, she has a transdisciplinary approach in researching on movement, language and sound. In 2019 ,she was part of the danceWEB programme, and in the 2019/2020 season, she was a resident choreographer at K3 | Hamburg Tanzplan. As a curator, she worked together with the Folkwang Museum in Essen and the Municipal Gallery of Porto, in interdisciplinary formats.
