Renan Martins is a Brazilian choreographer and performer living between Porto and Heidelberg (Germany). When he was 16 years old, he began studying dance at the Centro de Movimento Deborah Colker (Rio de Janeiro). A year later, he joined SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance), Austria. In 2010, he was admitted at P.A.R.T.S, in Brussels, where he started developing his own work as a choreographer. Renan Martins also worked as a dancer for Iztok Kovac, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Ceren Oran, Daniel Linehan, among others. Since 2013, he is a member of the Belgian company Damaged Goods/Meg Stuart.
