Ricardo Pereira Carvalho
Ricardo Pereira Carvalho was born in Porto in 1991. Dancer, teacher and choreographer. He studied at Balleteatro Escola Profissional and at Northern School of Contemporary Dance. As a dancer, he worked professionally with André Mendes (Encounters and SHOWROOM), Victor Hugo Pontes (A Ballet Story and InExterior), Né Barros (Landing), Willi Dorner (Bodies in Urban Spaces), Inês Jacques + Mão Morta (No fim era o frio), Brink Dance Company (HOWL), among others. He presented shows in Portugal, United Kingdom, France, Holland, Brazil, Belgium, Denmark, Germany and Malta. At the moment he is a student of Psychology and is interested in the connection between dance and the study of the brain, focusing on neurodiversity and motor neurological diseases.
