São Castro & António M Cabrita, both trained in dance, developed the project | acsc | between 2011 and 2016. In 2015, they were distinguished with the Prémio Autores of SPA in the Best Choreography category with the play False and nominated in 2016 and 2017 with the plays Tábua Rasa and Turbulência. They created Dido e Eneias for the National Ballet Company of Portugal.  

São Castro and António M Cabrita are currently artistic directors of CPR Viseu / Companhia Paulo Ribeiro. The first play they created as artistic directors for this company, Um Solo para a Sociedade, premiered in June 2017. In 2018, Box 2.0 – Instalação Holográfica premiered. And, in 2019, Todos, Alguém, Qualquer Um, Ninguém, by Luiz Antunes.
