Il Cantiere is an independent artistic collective that has been operating for many years in the field of performing arts, placing it-self in a perspective that considers contemporary creation as an encounter between different languages and a research practice. Their activity focuses on performances for theatrical spaces and site-specific creations for unconventional places that link choreographic and sound research to video, contemporary art and different practices of participatory theatre. The artistic direction team is formed by the dancer and choreographer Sara Marasso and the bassist, composer and video maker Stefano Risso.
