I collect from the inside out, in the hope of finding him. 
I parade my own memories and recover him through touch. 
I face space as a cradle, a shelter for the body.  
I move forward in search of him. 
I rock him. 
I find a deep stability, a place—or a feeling—of home. 
I sleep with a warm body 
I wake with a wet face I stretch, dry myself,  
and wish he would return to use me again.
