In Quinta-feira: Abracadabra, the fourth creation of the Sete Anos Sete Peças project, Cláudia Dias and Idoia Zabaleta give new uses to worn words. They start from scratch to recombine with the present people the minimum meanings of each word. Peace, bread, work, education mean what, more specifically? Demonstrating the true relationship between things and words, searching for the hidden names of injustice, inequality and oppression, the artists seek the magic word to move bodies and worlds.
In the project Sete Anos Sete Peças, Cláudia Dias creates each year a piece from a meeting with a guest artist. Each creation is the basis for an illustrated edition by António Jorge Gonçalves (Sete Anos Sete Livros) and a creation project with young people in Almada and Porto (Sete Anos Sete Escolas). The openifront of the national parliament to create a show that presents bodies and techno music moving against the attacks occurred in clubs of the city. History is cyclical and dance is once again, in the country, a peaceful protest and a venue for youth emancipation.
